Site-specific recombinase
Members of this family are uncharacterised bacterial proteins which are thought to be putative site-specific recombinase, although there is no evidence supporting this and may be misannotated. Sequence analysis predict helical transmembrane domains and seem to be distantly related to formate/nitrate transporters, with structural similarity to aquaporins. This may suggest that, actually, they are associated with transporter activity.
