Actin-rearrangement-inducing factor (Arif-1)
This family consists of several Nucleopolyhedrovirus actin-rearrangement-inducing factor (Arif-1) proteins. In response to Autographa californica multicapsid nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) infection, a sequential rearrangement of the actin cytoskeleton occurs this is induced by Arif-1. Arif-1 is tyrosine phosphorylated and is located at the plasma membrane as a component of the actin rearrangement-inducing complex.
