Tymovirus endopeptidase
Corresponds to Merops family C21. The best-studied plant alpha-like virus proteolytic enzyme is the proteinase of turnip yellow mosaic virus (TYMV). The TYMV replicase protein undergoes auto-cleavage to yield two products. The auto-peptidase activity has been mapped to the central part of this polyprotein.
