pfam03041: Baculo_LEF-2
lef-2
The lef-2 gene (for late expression factor 2) from baculovirus is required for expression of late genes. This gene has been shown to be specifically required for expression from the vp39 and polh promoters. LEF-1 is a DNA primase and there is some evidence to suggest that LEF-2 may bind to both DNA and LEF-1.
