This subgroup corresponds to the RRM1 of FCA, a gene controlling flowering time in Arabidopsis, encoding a flowering time control protein that functions in the posttranscriptional regulation of transcripts involved in the flowering process. FCA contains two RNA recognition motifs (RRMs), also known as RBDs (RNA binding domains) or RNP (ribonucleoprotein domains), and a WW protein interaction domain.
