Members of this protein family are predicted ATPases associated with plasmid transfer loci in bacteria. This family is most similar to the DotB ATPase of a type-IV secretion-like system of obligate intracellular pathogens Legionella pneumophila and Coxiella burnetii (TIGR02524).
