Protein of unknown function (DUF2478)
This is a family of hypothetical bacterial proteins found in the vicinity of Molybdenum ABC transporter ATP-binding gene-products MobA MobB and MobC. However the function could not be confirmed. This family appears to belong to the P-loop superfamily by alignment to pfam03266. However, the characteristic P-loop sequence motif appears to have diverged beyond recognition in this family.
