This HMM describes a region about 63 amino acids in length, including RiPP precursors Os1348 and Franean1_4349, showing some sequence similarity to both NHLP family RiPP precursors and to the nitrile hydratase alpha subunit itself. Some members of the family are long proteins, with this domain at or near the N-terminus.
