The pentapeptide repeat protein SmQnr is a chromosomal homolog of quinolone resistance proteins QnrA and QnrB, found in Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and related species. Most alleles appear to contribute little or no resistance to quinolones, but some exceptional alleles to reduce susceptibility.
