The coding region has been updated to extend the C-terminus to one that is more supported by available homology data and publications, and to represent an alternative exon 4 splice site that is supported by RT-PCR data in PMID:11544182 (via use of the RP157 primer) and by homology data. There are no full-length transcripts representing this update in mouse, but the update is well-supported by homologous proteins, including rat NP_001071116.1 and human NP_036363.2, and by functional support in PMIDs:11544182 and 15282304.
