Description	Sepecifies the input query
Value	Accession, GI, or actual sequences in various formats

Example	'...&QUERY=NP_000240&...' set query to NP_000240

Note: This parameter must be specified. Batch queries with actual sequences should be in FASTA format. If batch sequence IDs or actual sequences are to be used within the URL, they must be properly escaped. See 8.3 for details. Use 'SEQUENCE' in wwwblast. Commandline BLAST equivalent: '-i', which takes a text file name and accepts only FASTA formatted sequences.
