sets the pattern to [RK]-X(3)-[DE]-X(2)-Y.
Note: The example has its special characters escaped for direct use
in a URL, which can be used in conjunction with a sequence containing
the pattern, such as NP_000240. The pattern will not work
without a corresponding sequence! For input in the web form, the unescaped
version should be used. See 6.14. Same as
in wwwblast. Commandline BLAST equivalent: '-k'.
