5.1.25 HITLIST_SIZE

Parameter: HITLIST_SIZE

Description	Sets the upper limit for number of alignments and descriptions available in the formatting and reformatting step.
Value	integer
Default	depends on the blast pages used
CMD	self
Example	'...&HITLIST_SIZE=1000&...' will set the upper limit to 1000.

Note: A smaller setting in HITLIST_SIZE takes priority over those in ALIGNMENTS and DESCRIPTIONS, which overlap with the newly introduced MAX_NUM_SEQ (5.1.33). Irrelevant to wwwblast and standalone commandline BLAST. See 6.1.
