5.1.7 DATABASE

Parameter: DATABASE

Description	Specifies the target DATABASE
Value	List of common set available through 'CMD=info' with no other parameters
Default	-
CMD	Put
Example	'...&DATABASE=est_human&...' sets the target database to est_human. Multiple database like '...&DATABASE=refseq_rna+patnt&...' acceptable.

Note: Must be specified explicitly for script assisted search request. Use the multiple databases option sparingly! It could result in CPU time limit related warning/errors, like those given in 8.2. For more database choices, see http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/staff/tao/URLAPI/remote_blastdblist.html. Same in wwwblast. Commandline blast equivalent: '-d'.
