Function Specifies the threshold for extending word hits

Default 0

Example To increase the threshold to 13, use: -f 13

Note:

Zero (0) invokes default, 11 for blastp, 12 for blastx, 13 for tblastn and tblastx. Smaller value increases the search sensitivity. Use -W for blastn and megablast.
