Deep (>25X) whole genome sequencing of 20 mice from pedigrees in which a male mouse has been exposed to 3Gy of ionising radiation (acute X-rays) 4 days or 8 weeks before conceiving pups. The two timepoints are to assess the impact of IR on pre-meiotic (i.e. spermatognoial stem cells) and post-meiotic (i.e. sperm) gametes. At each timepoint, each irradiated male (C57BL/6J) was mated with two females (CBA/Ca). The 20 mice will be selected for sequencing on the basis of maximising the number of independent meioses studied at the two timepoints
