Guillain-Barré syndrome in a 93-year-old woman: rapid improvement of neurologic function following intravenous immunoglobulin

Abstract

We treated a 93-year-old woman with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) with high-dose intravenous immunoglobulin (IgIV). The patient improved within 48 hours of the onset of treatment. There were no adverse side effects.
