Abstract

Abnormalities and injuries of the meniscus have been studied for decades. An expanded knowledge of knee biomechanics and the advent of arthroscopy have changed the diagnosis and treatment of meniscal pathology over the past decade. This review highlights some of the relevant literature concerning the meniscus.
