Figure 14 is a forest plot that displays effect estimates for diastolic blood pressure in subjects taking ACE inhibitors with or without omega-3 fatty acids/fish oil. Two studies were pooled, yielding a statistically nonsignificant effect estimate (difference in means = −1.75 mg/dL, lower bound 95% confidence interval −5.98, upper bound 95% confidence interval 2.48). There was no heterogeneity (I2 = 0.0%, chi-squared = 0.02, p-value = 0.89).
