Distribution of Src and synapsin I immunoreactivities in subcellular fractions of rat forebrain obtained at various stages of vesicle purification. Protein samples (15 μg) of subcellular fractions were separated by SDS/PAGE and analyzed by immunoblot assay. Relative to the homogenate, Src was enriched in highly purified vesicle fractions, and its association with the vesicle membrane was not affected by the salt treatment used to deplete synapsin I.
