[Lateral photo-color therapy in the combined ambulatory treatment of mental disorders]

The feasibility was studied of modifying clinical effects of psychopharmacotherapy with the aid of lateral photo-colour therapy. It was shown that direct "left hemispheric" lightings work towards quick reduction of depressive and anxious symptomatology, weakness, hypoasthenic disorders. Clinical time course of a whole complex of senesthopathic and hysteric signs is characterized by quantitatively variable sensitivity to direct lightings, that of problems of initiating sleep and supervalual and hypochondriacal disorders--to reverse lightings. Multimodality treatment in psychoasthenic and paranoiac-hypochondriac clinico-psychopathologic radicals failed to show superiority to an individually adequate psychopharmacotherapy.
