    Staphylococcal blistering dactylitis: report of two patients.

    Abstract

    Two children with staphylococcal blistering distal dactylitis (BDD), a condition usually caused by streptococci, are reported. Etiologic distinction in BDD can be made only bacteriologically. Staphylococci are increasingly the cause of bacterial cutaneous infections.
