Monitoring unit-based innovations: a process evaluation approach

Nurs Econ. 1993 May-Jun;11(3):137-43.

Abstract

A comprehensive program evaluation helps assure that the program envisioned is implemented; or helps determine why it failed. It strengthens assumption about causality by clarifying the relationships between intervention and outcome. A program evaluation planning map can be helpful in measuring the extent of professional practice model implementation.
