Malnutrition: Food for thought

S Afr Med J. 1975 May 24;49(22):903-5.

Abstract

It has been suggested that the majority of malnourished persons do not represent a medical problem. They are afflicted by socio-economic disease and the onus is on society to provide the cure which should be economic and organisational, and which would best be co-ordinated by a small group of medical personnel with an interest in the problem.
