    Abstract

    While the horizons for cryobiology may be bright and granted, tremendous strides have been made in the area of artifical insemination(AI), it is evident that only dairy cattle AI with frozen semen has achieved industrial application. Beef cattle AI has been hampered by the lack of suitable techniques for oestrous control.
