Tumori. 1983 Dec 31;69(6):539-44.

The value of ductogalactography in the diagnosis of intraductal papilloma.

Abstract

A series of 291 ductogalactograms was reviewed to detect radiologic signs pathognomonic of single or multiple papillomas. These lesions were found in 24% of the patients. Ductogalactography is the only method that can reach a diagnosis in many patients with nipple discharge. It has a good reliability (76%); we had no false-positives or false-negatives as regards malignant lesions in our series.
