NH4+ derepression of azide resistant mutant of Azotobacter chroococcum

Zentralbl Mikrobiol. 1985;140(7):575-8.

Abstract

Five azide resistant mutants of Azotobacter chroococcum were isolated after MNNG mutagenesis. These mutants varied in their ability to detoxify azide in the presence of NH4+ and this ability has been found to be directly related to NH4+ derepression.
