Thorac Cardiovasc Surg. 1987 Apr;35(2):124-5. doi: 10.1055/s-2007-1020211.

Abstract

Recurrent ventricular fibrillation in a neonate after corrective surgery was effectively treated with intravenous amiodarone in addition to countershock. Amiodarone was administered in a loading dose of 1.3 milligrams per kilogram body weight in 12 minutes, followed by continuous infusion of 5.3 milligrams per kilogram body weight per 24 hours.
