The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the methyl hydrazinecarboxyl-ate plane is 3.01 (6)°. An intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond is observed. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to (10) by O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
