Abstract

Wound treatment is increasingly becoming the domain of specially trained medical personal. The flood of diverse wound treatments and bandaging techniques grows continuously. Studies which compare the effectiveness deliver such a variety of results that medical personal are starting to doubt trusted methods. The presented case study shows how a non-medical measure, in this case a change in the person administering the treatment, or in other words the interpersonal relationship aspect, can significantly contribute to wound healing.
