Brucellosis complicating bilateral total knee arthroplasty.

Abstract

Infection after arthroplasty is a serious complication associated with a high incidence of morbidity. A 24-year-old woman developed brucella septic arthritis in both knees following bilateral total knee arthroplasty. This complication appears not to have been previously reported in the literature.
