Science. 1965 Dec 17;150(3703):1608-9. doi: 10.1126/science.150.3703.1608.

Abstract

The caterpillar of a plume moth (Trichoptilus parvulus) was found feeding on a sundew plant (Drosera capillaris) in Florida. The larva eats the stalked glands with their sticky secretion, the leaf blades, and even dead insects trapped by the plant.
