Hydralazine (BiDil® (as a combination product containing Hydralazine Hydrochloride and Isosorbide Dinitrate), Hydra-Zide® (as a combination product containing Hydralazine Hydrochloride and Hydrochlorothiazide))
Hydralazine is used to treat high blood pressure. It works by relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body.
Isosorbide (Dilatrate®-SR, Imdur®, Ismo®, ...)
Isosorbide is used to prevent or treat chest pain (angina). It works by relaxing the blood vessels to the heart, so the blood and oxygen supply to the heart is increased.
