Cancer-related fatigue.

This self-directed learning module highlights the role of cancer-related fatigue in the rehabilitation of people with oncology diagnoses. It is part of the chapter on cardiac, pulmonary, and cancer rehabilitation in the Self-Directed Physiatric Education Program for practitioners and trainees in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This article identifies the most common causes and features of cancer-related fatigue and presents a general approach and specific recommendations for appropriate intervention. Overall Article Objective: To equip physiatrists to evaluate and treat the common problem of cancer-related fatigue in patients with oncologic diagnoses.
