An unusual cause of acute abdomen: torsion of colonic duplication over a duplicated appendix

Abstract

A 2-year old boy with torsion of colonic duplication, which had a proximal communication with the cecum via an incomplete duplicated appendix, is presented. The clinical picture and complications of this rare association are discussed.
