    Abstract

Limited information is currently available on patient preferences regarding administration frequency, tablet load and the trade-off between side effects and convenience in choosing antiretroviral regimens. A standardized questionnaire of persons with HIV infection across 5 large European countries was used to assess patient preference. 504 people with HIV participated. Participants showed a preference for once-daily therapy administration. However, several factors affected this preference.
