Legal and professional aspects of intravenous therapy

Abstract

The nurse's role in intravenous therapy can result in professional satisfaction, but also increased professional risk and liability. The author argues that nurses must have a clear understanding of the legal and professional aspects of intravenous therapy to maintain their professional integrity.
