We regret that we will no longer be able to provide technical support for the NCBI Toolbar. It has been increasingly difficult to maintain the code in the face of more pressing demands for NCBI databases and services. Of course, you may continue to use your current copy of the NCBI Toolbar, but we will not be able to provide technical assistance or updates.

We will continue to monitor developments in browser software and will re-evaluate the possibility of offering a toolbar in the future. In the meantime, however, we thank you for your support of the NCBI Toolbar and invite your comments on how we can best meet your needs in using the NCBI web site.
