Getting Started with LinkOut Course Offerings

Getting Started with LinkOut provides step-by-step direction on how to activate LinkOut for your library's print and electronic journal collections, so that your users are above to view your library's holdings and access the appropriate full text through the PubMed interface. Topics covered are registration for LinkOut, entering holdings, displaying your library's icon for "branding" purposes, and access to free full text and other resources through LinkOut.

This class has been approved by the Medical Library Association for 2 (lecture only) or 4 (hands-on) contact hours of CE credit. It is listed by MLA as course number 3135.

Classes are held in conjunction with the National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC). Please use NTCC's registration form to sign up for Getting Started with LinkOut. For information on the training sites, please call the contact person for your region provided by NTCC.

Additional training sessions may be scheduled for libraries, chapter meetings, or other interested groups.
