DKFZ Pongo pygmaeus cDNA projectOVERVIEWIn 2002, The German cDNA consortium started a cooperation with Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (Leipzig, Germany), focusing on selection and analysis of a comprehensive set of not yet analyzed orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) ESTs and full length cDNAs. By 2004, more than 46.000 orangutan ESTs and 4.000 full-length cDNAs from various tissues have been collected, analyzed and stored in public databases. All sequences and corresponding clones are freely available.CONTACTSClara Amid Stefan Wiemann LINKSThe German Pnogo pygmaeus cDNA Project Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) Resource Center/Primary Database
