Intended Audience
GeneTests is focused on the information needs of genetics professionals and assumes familiarity with the genetic mechanisms of disease causation and genetic counseling principles. Other healthcare providers using GeneTests are encouraged to consult a genetics clinic with their questions about the application of genetic testing to the diagnosis, management, and genetic counseling of their patients (use the Clinic Directory to locate a genetics clinic). Consumers are encouraged to speak with a healthcare provider or a genetics clinic for questions regarding availability and appropriateness of genetic testing.

Limitations of Content
GeneTests attempts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Web site, but the Web site content and any Web site-related services are provided "as is", with no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. This Agreement and your use of this Web site is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, exclusive of its choice of Law rules. By accessing and using this Web site, you agree to submit to the state and federal courts in King County of Washington State for all disputes of any kind, and you waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts. GeneTests, the University of Washington, and affiliates and sponsors may modify the terms of this Agreement by posting notice of such modification on the Web site entitled "Legal Notices" before the modification takes place.
