Concerns about prescribing oral preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) by physicians in Lima, Peru. Seventy-five physicians were asked to rate on a scale (from 0 to 10) how concerned they were about the following potential barriers when considering prescribing PrEP. A median score was calculated for each category of concern. Shown are the median score (with IQR) for all physicians and infectious disease (ID) and non-ID physicians. *ID and non-ID physicians expressed similar concerns regarding prescribing PrEP, with the exception that ID physicians were less concerned about inexperience with prescribing antiretrovirals (ART) (p=0.017).
