Chemically Defined Minimal Medium for Growth of the Anaerobic Cellulolytic Thermophile Clostridium thermocellum


A minimal chemically defined medium has been developed for Clostridium thermocellum. The growth factors required are biotin, pyridoxamine, vitamin B12, and p-aminobenzoic acid.
