Loading was confirmed by Ponceau S staining of membranes and data were normalized to a band expressed equally in all samples (below, indicated by an asterisk). The averages of the normalized values of EC-SOD expression from the six monkeys from the two groups before and after METH treatment are shown as bar graphs (bottom). (B) Immunoassay revealed a significant increase in GST in METH-treated animals. Data are represented as mean ± SEM. An unpaired t-test was used to assess the data for statistical significance.
