1.

Liposarcoma

A malignant tumor derived from primitive or embryonal lipoblastic cells. It may be composed of well-differentiated fat cells or may be dedifferentiated: myxoid (LIPOSARCOMA, MYXOID), round-celled, or pleomorphic, usually in association with a rich network of capillaries. Recurrences are common and dedifferentiated liposarcomas metastasize to the lungs or serosal surfaces. (From Dorland, 27th ed; Stedman, 25th ed) [from MeSH]

Myxoid liposarcoma

Myxoid liposarcoma is a soft tissue tumor that tends to occur in the limbs (especially the thigh) of patients ranging in age from 35 to 55 years. It is defined by the presence of a hypocellular spindle cell proliferation set in a myxoid background, often with mucin pooling. Lipoblasts tend to be small and often monovacuolated and to cluster around vessels or at the periphery of the lesion (review by Dei Tos, 2000). [from OMIM]

Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma

A malignant adipocytic neoplasm showing transition, either in the primary or in a recurrence, from atypical lipomatous tumor/well differentiated liposarcoma to non-lipogenic sarcoma of variable histological grade, usually at least several millimeters in diameter. [from NCI]

Undifferentiated (Embryonal) Sarcoma

A rare malignant neoplasm of the liver that is most common in youth. [from NCI]

Mixed Liposarcoma

A malignant neoplasm characterized by the presence of a combination of liposarcomatous morphologic subtypes: myxoid/round cell and well differentiated/dedifferentiated liposarcoma or myxoid/round cell and pleomorphic liposarcoma. [from NCI]
