    Summary
    Enables cytokine receptor binding activity and non-membrane spanning protein tyrosine kinase activity. Involved in several processes, including locomotor rhythm; morphogenesis of an epithelium; and ovarian follicle cell development. Located in cytoplasmic side of plasma membrane and cytosol. Is expressed in adult head; adult mushroom body; organism; and testis. Used to study disease of cellular proliferation and hematologic cancer. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including gastrointestinal system cancer (multiple); hematologic cancer (multiple); hepatic vascular disease (multiple); inflammatory bowel disease (multiple); and lung non-small cell carcinoma (multiple).
