| Microbial Genomes Resources presents public data
from prokaryotic genome sequencing projects. The sequence
collection contains data from finished genomes as well as
draft assemblies.
The first complete microbial genome, Haemophilus influenzae Rd KW20, was sequenced by The Institute for Genome
Research and submitted to the public database in July, 1995 (Fleischmann RD
et al).
