NIH Zebrafish Gene Collection

OVERVIEW

The goal of the NIH Zebrafish Gene Collection (ZGC) project is to identify and sequence a representative full-length open reading frame (ORF) clone for a finite number of Danio rerio genes. By December 2003, the ZGC had deposited more than 3,000 full-length ORF sequences for non-redundant genes into GenBank. All clones generated by the ZGC are publicly accessible to the biomedical research community through the IMAGE Consortium distributors.
