    (Submitter supplied) Esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) has the fastest increase of any cancer in the US and Europe, and arises in the setting of Barrett’s esophagus (BE), defined by replacement of normal squamous epithelium with columnar intestinal-like epithelium.
