All cycles involve snails as intermediate hosts. Hermaphroditic flukes - Clonorchis sinensis, Fasiolopsis buski, Paragonimys westermani, and Heterophytes heterpphyes. Metacercaria are infective for humans. Bisexual flukes: Schistosoma japonicum, S mansoni, and S hematobium. Cercariae are infective for humans. (From Castro, GA: Trematodes: schistosomiasis. p. 1710.
